An AI expert and a mental health professional who will help us understand the strengths and weaknesses of AI when used in career development activities. Praveen Parameswar has harnessed AI to assist with Lifology, a computerized career planning program and trains Lifologists to add their human assistance where it is needed. Sonny Wong is a Registered Psychotherapist who practices Career Focused Positive Counselling. He will explain the impact of AI on career practitioners and how they address career presenting issues and well-being.

Fees: Cost for residents of high-income countries: $20 for members, $30 for non-members, $15 students; Cost for residents of other countries: $10 for members, $15 for non-members, $7.50 students

Praveen Parameswar is the CEO of Lifology.com, a sophisticated growth ecosystem for children powered with technology and human factors. He is a passionate entrepreneur who cherishes a vision to create a world where every child is led towards a meaningful future. Before venturing into Lifology.com, he headed Thoughts Academy Plc, a pioneer in Organization Development Interventions across South India. Mr. Parameswar is a TEDx speaker, educated at the London School of Economics, holds a MBA from the University of Cardiff (UK), and Sir Julian Hodge Prize winner for the best performance in Human Resource Management.

Sonny Wong is a Registered Psychotherapist based in Toronto, Canada, practicing in Career-Focused Positive Counselling. With more than 25 years of experience, he began his career as a researcher focused on the needs of displaced workers then moved into program development for mature workers and newcomers and later worked as a career and employment consultant supporting individuals on provincial financial assistance. Sonny is also a lecturer, writer, trainer, and clinical supervisor, and has received multiple service awards. He provides support to both counsellors and their clients by sharing evidence-informed knowledge and practical techniques. His work addresses the human experience of work and career challenges without pathologizing common occupational stressors.
