Dr. Glenda Quintini leads the skills work in the OECD Skills and Employability division looking at how skill needs are changing in the labour market and identifying effective policy responses, particularly in the area of adult learning and on-the-job training. Dr. Quintini’s team provides advice to countries, carries out comparative analysis and contributes to the development and analysis of the OECD Survey of Adult Skills (PIAAC) and the accompanying employer module on skill gaps. She also leads the Global Deal Support Unit, hosted by the OECD to promote social dialogue and sound industrial relations and foster inclusive growth. Dr. Quintini holds a PHD in Economics from the University of Oxford.
Dr. Neena Pahuja, Executive Member at National Council of Vocational Education & Training (NCVET) under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, is supporting various policies including Future Skills, Cross-Sectoral skilling, Micro-Credentials and National Credit Framework & its operationalization. She has also supported initiatives on Skilling for AI, Digital Skilling framework and the future of work. Dr. Pahuja was former the Director General at ERNET India, part of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (Meity), where she was involved in national wide policies & new research areas to support “Connected India” initiatives. She was also responsible for national policy on the Internet of Things (IoT) where she helped in setting-up centers of excellence for start-ups for Intelligent IOT.
Dr Gog Soon Joo, Chief Skills Officer at SkillsFuture Singapore, Ministry of Education, Singapore, oversees the skills development system in Singapore through working with tripartite partners in the identification, dissemination and measurement of the skills needs of Singapore’s economy. She works with global researchers, EdTech, HRTech and CareerTech partners in shaping the skills ecosystem. Dr Gog is active at the WEF Skills-Revolution workgroup and Longevity Economy workgroup; member of the Advisory Board at the Nanyang Technological University Centre for Research and Development in Learning; and member of the International Committee of Experts for UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities.
