Dr Hyung Joon Yoon is an Associate Professor for Workforce Education and Development at Pennsylvania State University. His research centers on utilizing hope, human agency for individuals and organisations. He co-developed Hope-Action Theory and the Hope-Action Inventory, and he is one of the co-authors of Career Recovery: Creating Hopeful Careers in Difficult Times. Dr Hyung is also Associate Editor of Human Resource Development Review, a premier theory-building journal in the Human Resources field. He was designated as an NCDA Fellow in 2020 for his significant contributions to the field of career development.
