by Dr. Dennis L. Nord

Recorded on January 8, 2026

Support clients in aligning their skills, values, and aspirations with meaningful climate-related career paths. Dr. Dennis L. Nord’s book, Climate Change Means Green Careers, offers a practical framework for helping people build resilience and pivot at key points in their professional lives. It addresses how market trends, organizational shifts, and personal circumstances can open opportunities for new directions and deeper purpose. Dr. Nord will provide a free PDF copy of the book to all webinar registrants. Participants are encouraged to review it beforehand and bring questions for discussion. The book includes real-world career examples across sectors, guidance on identifying a personal “climate niche,” strategies for networking and evaluating opportunities, and tools for planning transitions—whether beginning a career, changing fields, or amplifying current work. The webinar is designed to help career professionals lead classes and client discussions that foster clear next steps, strengthened confidence, and a grounded, sustainable vision for contributing to climate-positive work.
